About: Staff
EveryOne Home intentionally maintains a small staff, believing that it is the mainstream systems of care and local non-profits that can and must implement the housing and services needed to reach our goal of ending homelessness.
Elaine deColigny, Executive Director
Elaine de Coligny’s countywide leadership encompasses 15 years of experience providing shelter, supportive housing and services to women, children, and survivors of domestic violence. She served on the County’s Homeless Continuum of Care Council since 1997 and as its Co-Chair from 2002 until 2007. In that role she participated in the development of the Alameda Countywide Homeless and Special Needs Housing Plan, now known as the EveryOne Home Plan.
“I believe we will succeed in ending homelessness in Alameda County. It will take a collaboration of citizens, local governments, housing developers, businesses, the faith community and service providers. I am confident that collectively we have the heart and the expertise to make it happen, and I am honored to contribute my part to this ambitious endeavor.”
Sabrina Balderama, Program Associate
Sabrina Balderama graduated from the University of California at Davis with a B.A. degree in Sociology and has five years non-profit experience in the roles of direct service, case management, and program supervision. She has volunteered with several community organizations working on health and environmental issues. Having joined EveryOne Home in May of 2008, Sabrina is very excited to be part of the movement to end homelessness.
